Branding a Nation: JapanGov

Creative Direction/UX/UI/Government

Japan creates opportunities to collectively solve social and environmental challenges, and build a better, more inclusive society.  

Pitching creative ideas of the impressive stories coming alive to the Cabinet Office and the Prime Minister's Office in the Government of Japan was never easy, but extremely exciting.  Worked closely and carefully with clients and Japanese advertising giants, delivered the mobile first front-end experience at Bloomberg microsite on Bloomberg.com. Managed the production of the campaign: worked closely with the writer and creative team with user-optimized flows, motion graphics and information architectures to communicate with users effectively. 

Businesses and institutions spend a lot of time curating a brand personality, voice, and brand positioning in the marketplace. It goes beyond visible elements such as having an identifying symbol, mark, logo etc. that they can use to distinguish themselves from rivals. Impressive stories, data and testimonials of a brand effectively contribute to the way a audience interacts with and perceives a brand, which culminates in brand image.
